FAR remained lead HMBS issuer throughout 2024, ending the year with $1.875 billion issued and 31.0% market share. Longbridge stayed in second, with $1.354 billion issued and 22.4% market share. Mutual of Omaha and PHH swapped places again for third, with MoO issuing $1.112 billion for an 18.4% market share, and PHH issuing $1.079 billion for a 17.9% market share. Just $32.6 million of HMBS issuance separated MoO and PHH for the year. These are the same eleven issuers as last quarter. The Top Four issuers accounted for just under 90% of all HMBS issuance in 2024.
